Tweeting about AIDS

A couple months ago a friend gave me this link, which — after a really excessive delay — I will now share.

AIDS Actions on Twitter —

As far as I can tell, this is an aggregator, that collects Tweets about things you can do to address HIV/AIDS and other humanitarian issues, from signing petitions to applying for related jobs.

I’d like to give more details, but, frankly, I know nothing about Twitter.  The whole phenomenon pretty much goes right over my head (though I do know that it’s sort of all over the place, and that politicians have a knack for using it to look ever more ridiculous).  So, it’s possible that this site does all kinds of cool things I don’t know about.  If you’re a skilled Twitterer, be sure to check it out for yourself, and maybe report back if you discover anything exciting. :)

My own ignorance aside, I like the idea of collecting opportunities for action.  There’s so much going on out there, and it can be so hard to figure it out!  Any tool that makes navigating the advocacy world easier is probably a big plus.
