Rwandans cheer Obama

Greetings from Kigali, Rwanda where we stayed up all night and celebrated at dawn. In more than twelve years living and working in Africa, I am finally proud to call myself an American. You can’t believe the response of the Rwandans, from my university educated colleagues to those who sweep the floors. The perception of what America is has literally changed overnight and for so much the better.
