Introducing News Notes
(or, What I’m Going to Do Next)
I’ve gotten seriously behind on posting news stories (my frenzied pace dropped while a dear friend was in town), so I’m going to get some links up here as quickly as possible. This will probably become increasingly common: I’ve been trying to get as much content on the site as possible by highlighting articles that touch on key issues in HIV/AIDS advocacy, but I can’t perpetually devote this much time to news reporting. I’d like to work on some more in-depth, less time-sensitive stuff, like reviews . . . oh, and hopefully I’ll actually be working full-time soon (ahh, the refrain of the recent liberal arts grad!).
Anyway, today I’m starting a new “series” that I’ll call News Notes (unless/until I think of a better name). Hopefully this will be a quick way to post links and stories that I don’t have the time/inclination to comment on much. (I’ll try to group articles topically when I can, but that might not always work out.) So, when you see a post title beginning with “NN” — everything else related to HIV/AIDS seems to be expressed in acronyms, so I’m just following the trend! — you’ll know what you’re looking at.
We now return to our regularly scheduled posting. Peace!
