Drug Access in India and Uganda

Following up on my previous post about antiretroviral availability in Mexico, here are a couple more stories about drug access in the developing world.  This article from the Kaiser Network reports the rejection of a patent application for a pediatric ARV in India, which will allow Indian companies to keep producing lower-cost generic versions of the drug.  This older (Jan. 2008) article discusses the production of generic drugs in Uganda.
